Toronto, Canada – January 3, 2020 – Katie Chats Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of the second season of the hit original comedy web series My Roommate’s an Escort on Facebook, ONNtv, and Seeka TV in the US (see links below).

My Roommate’s an Escort 2 is directed by Katie Uhlmann, and stars creators Katie Uhlmann (Workin’ Moms) and Trish Rainone (V-Wars), and features President of ACTRA National David Sparrow (Serendipity, Fargo). David Carruthers (Workin’ Moms, Good Witch) and Rebeka Herron (Land of Nod) serve as Executive Producers.

My Roommate’s an Escort 2 continues to follow the misadventures of Heather (Trish Rainone) and her “entrepreneurial” roommate Kesha (Katie Uhlmann), this time as they head up north to the small town of Northern Paradise to solve a mysterious crime.

The first season of My Roommate’s an Escort was a crowdfunded, micro-budget web series that won awards and received recognition from festivals around the world, including Best International Series at the Miami Web Festival. This success helped to draw the funding support of the Canada Media Fund and the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation for season two.

Director Katie Uhlmann worked closely with cinematographer Alvin Sun (The White Samurai), editor Steve Schmidt (Hard Rock Medical), composer Danny Colomby (Survivorman) and production designer Stephanie Maione (Hammer) to achieve to a new level of cinematic and comedic creativity for the second season.
